【江苏省扬州中学简介】
江苏省扬州中学发端于1902年创立的仪董学堂,是一所有着120多年办学历史的名校。始建于1930年的树人堂是学校的标志性建筑,是江苏省青少年爱国主义教育基地,入选中国20世纪建筑遗产。学校先后荣获全国先进基层党组织、全国教育系统先进集体、全国五四红旗团委、全国文明校园、全国中小学国防教育示范学校、全国中小学人工智能教育基地实验校、全国中小学科学教育实验校、江苏省首批高品质高中等多项荣誉。
我校素以办学立意高峻、校风优良、名师荟萃、人才辈出著称于世。以“正直向上,热于求知”为校训,以“进德修业,教书育人”为教风,以“慎思明辨,格物致知”为学风,坚持“突出树人宗旨,努力服务社会”的优良办学传统,培养了一大批优秀人才。校友中有中共第三代中央领导集体的核心江泽民,原中共中央政治局委员、著名理论家胡乔木,著名作家、学者朱自清,“两弹一星”元勋黄纬禄,国家最高科学技术奖获得者吴征镒、吴良镛等51位院士,更有大批专家、学者、各级干部及各行各业高素质的劳动者。
学校坚持“科学与人文相融合”的办学特色,培养学生的健全人格,并在学校管理、队伍建设、教育教学、课程设置等方面全面体现这一特色。注重建设高品位的校园文化,课程设置体现能力本位和文理并重思想,为学生搭建自主探索与创新实践的广阔平台,促进每一个学生全面而有个性发展,努力培养具有“高尚人格、高端学术、高健身心、高雅品位”的四高时代青年。
办学规模适中,教师队伍优秀。校园面积11万平方米,校舍建筑面积10万平方米。现有60余个教学班,在校学生3000多人,教职工280多名,有250多名专任教师。在职正高级教师10人,省市特级教师、特级班主任18人,全国模范教师1人,全国优秀教师1人,国家级教学名师1人,享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家1人,教育部“双名计划”1人,江苏省人民教育家培养对象2人,省333工程第二层次培养对象1人,省333工程第三层次培养对象8人。学校“自治自动·共研共享”四有好老师团队荣获江苏省首批重点培育“四有”好老师团队“优秀”等级,形成了一支进德修业、教书育人、学养深厚、教导有方的教师队伍。
坚持育人为本,德育为先。构建“三全四自”(三全:全面育人、全员育人、全程育人;四自:行为自律、学习自主、活动自治、评价自省)德育模式,形成文化认同、习惯养成、生涯规划、活动激励、评价促进“五位一体”的德育体系,促进学生人格健全。以积极心理中心和生涯规划中心为主体,建设“人格健全·自治自动”学生发展中心,全面提高学生身心健康水平,提高生涯规划意识和能力。50多个社团,活动丰富多彩,两年一次的慈善义演被评为扬州市德育精品项目,注重自治自动,促进学生全面发展。
坚持课程改革,以高品质课程培养人才。构建了国家课程和校本课程相结合的学校课程体系,校本课程中,竞赛课程自成体系,涵盖数学、物理、化学、生物和信息学奥赛等学科;拓展性课程丰富,现有45个模块,540个专题,促进学生学术健全。劳动教育课程把劳动实践与校本特色结合起来,特别是烹饪课程和烘焙课程,学会烧8道淮扬菜、会做8道糕点成为全体同学的必修课,促进了扬州美食文化的传承,引起了社会的广泛关注,多家媒体进行了报道。
科研强校,以科研促发展。建成了基于"三个对话"平台的语文课程基地,基于"自治自动"育人传统的实验课程基地,"自治·共享"劳动教育课程基地等3个江苏省课程基地和江苏省"自治自动"数学、物理、化学、人工智能4个学科发展创新中心,促进学生科学精神和人文素养全面提升。以教育科研为先导,2012-2025年,我校教师主持国家级课题4项,省级课题42项。获得国家级教学成果奖2项,省级教学成果奖9项。校史资料长编获江苏省首届教育科学研究成果一等奖。
坚持个性发展,拔尖人才脱颖而出。学校是江苏省"创新人才培养试点学校",形成了创新人才培养机制,取得优异成绩。近六年来,清华北大录取人数60余人,本一达线率接近100%。近十年,在五大学科奥赛中,摘得国家金牌12枚、银牌22枚和铜牌5枚,1000多人荣获省一等奖;在全国青少年科技创新大赛,江苏省青少年科技创新大赛,中小学电脑制作活动机器人,江苏省科技模型竞赛等比赛中近百人荣获特等奖或一等奖。在作文、诗歌(文)等比赛中,每年有50多人荣获省级一等奖。
坚持开放办学,国际交流广泛。长期以来,学校与10多所世界知名高中开展广泛,深入的合作。学校国际部每届招收40名左右的学生,100%的学生进入美国前五十,英国前十,加拿大,澳大利亚前五,新加坡和香港前三等世界一流名校深造。

Yangzhou High School of Jiangsu Province traces its roots to Yidong School founded in 1902, boasting a glorious school-running history of over 120 years. The iconic Shuren Hall, constructed in 1930, serves as a patriotic education base for young people in Jiangsu Province and has been included in the list of China's Architectural Heritage of the 20th Century. Yangzhou High School of Jiangsu Province has successively won numerous honors, such as Advanced Primary-level Party Organization of China, Advanced Collective in the National Education System, National May Fourth Red Banner Communist Youth League Committee, National Civilized Campus, National Model School for National Defense Education in Primary and Secondary Schools, National Experimental School for Artificial Intelligence Education in Primary and Secondary Schools, National Experimental School for Science Education in Primary and Secondary Schools, and one of the first batch of High-Quality High Schools in Jiangsu Province.

Adhering to the principle of "Student-Centered Education and Moral Education First", the school has constructed a moral education model of "Three Whole Principles and Four Selfs" (Three Whole Principles: Whole-Person Education, Whole-Staff Education, Whole-Process Education; Four Selfs: Self-Disciplined Behavior, Self-Directed Learning, Self-Governed Activities, Self-Reflective Evaluation) and formed a "Five-in-One" moral education system encompassing cultural identity, habit formation, career planning, activity motivation, and evaluation promotion, so as to promote the sound development of students' personalities. Centered on the Positive Psychology Center and the Career Planning Center, the school has built a "Sound Personality · Self-Governance & Self-Motivation" Student Development Center, aiming to comprehensively improve students' physical and mental health, as well as their awareness and ability in career planning. With more than 50 student associations offering a wide range of colorful activities, the biennial Charity Gala has been rated as an Excellent Moral Education Program in Yangzhou City. Committed to curriculum reform, the school cultivates talents through high-quality courses. It has established a school curriculum system combining national courses and school-based courses. Among the school-based courses, the competition curriculum has formed an independent system, covering Olympiad courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and informatics; the extensive developmental courses consist of 45 modules and 540 topics, promoting students' academic proficiency. The labor education curriculum integrates labor practice with school-based characteristics. In particular, the cooking and baking courses make it a compulsory requirement for all students to master 8 Huaiyang dishes (a famous Chinese cuisine originated in Yangzhou) and 8 pastries. This not only promotes the inheritance of Yangzhou’s food culture, but also attracts widespread social attention and has been covered by multiple media outlets.
Strengthening the school through scientific research, the school promotes development with research outcomes. It has established 3 Jiangsu Provincial Curriculum Bases, namely the Chinese Curriculum Base based on the "Three Dialogues" platform (dialogues between teachers and students, between students and texts, between individuals and society), the Experimental Curriculum Base rooted in the educational tradition of "Self-Governance & Self-Motivation", and the "Self-Governance & Shared Benefits" Labor Education Curriculum Base. Additionally, there are 4 Jiangsu Provincial Discipline Development and Innovation Centers in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and artificial intelligence under the theme of "Self-Governance & Self-Motivation", all contributing to the comprehensive improvement of students' scientific spirit and humanistic literacy. Guided by educational scientific research, from 2012 to 2025, teachers of the school have presided over 4 national-level projects and 42 provincial-level projects, winning 2 National Teaching Achievement Awards and 9 Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards. The Comprehensive Compilation of School History Materials was awarded the first prize of the First Jiangsu Provincial Educational Scientific Research Achievements.
Upholding the development of individuality, top-notch talents have emerged one after another. As a "Pilot School for Cultivating Innovative Talents in Jiangsu Province", the school has established a mechanism for cultivating innovative talents and achieved remarkable results. In the past six years, more than 60 graduates have been admitted to Tsinghua University and Peking University, with the admission rate to first-class undergraduate programs approaching 100%. Over the past decade, in the five major subject Olympiads, the school has won 12 national gold medals, 22 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals, with more than 1,000 students winning first prizes at the provincial level. Nearly 100 students have obtained Grand Prizes or first prizes in competitions such as the National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition, Jiangsu Provincial Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition, Robot Competition in Primary and Secondary School Computer Production Activities, and Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Model Competition. Every year, more than 50 students win first prizes at the provincial level in competitions such as composition and poetry contests.
Adhering to open education, the school conducts extensive international exchanges. For a long time, it has carried out extensive and in-depth cooperation with more than 10 world-renowned high schools. The International Department of the school enrolls about 40 students each year, and 100% of them are admitted to world-class universities, such as top 50 universities in the United States, top 10 universities in the United Kingdom, top 5 universities in Canada and Australia, and top 3 universities in Singapore and Hong Kong.
